Love this magnetic mount. Best part is the custom short connection for Comma to the attached device mount side. It tucks the cable in tight against the Comma so the camera can hardly see it. Well made and has user friendly magnetic force that is easy to control. Strong but not super strong.

I had stopped taking down my Comma 3 whenever possible, to protect the lifespan of the connections. This has removed that concern and is a "simple" & elegant solution to the problem. Well, worth the money to protect something I paid over $2k for.

Very well made product - makes using our comma in two cars super easy. This is a must if you have a comma or planning to get one soon.

I tried tried other mounts before but this one have the perfect blend between tolerance and usability. It is lose enough to make it easy to detach but tight enough that there is very little play. Overall, a solid mount.

Totally worth the cost. Extremely happy with the quality & design of this mount. Vastly superior vs original mount included with C3X. Installed it in cold weather and still immediately holds up to removing and installing the C3X with every drive. No connection issues and extremely sturdy/stable mount wise.

I accidentally broke my comma 3X screen once because I was manually removing it every time I parked my vehicle, and now I don't have to worry about doing that after installing this.

Comes with everything you would need. The custom USB C cable is quite nice, and the 8 degree shim included was very welcome. Everything works and is well made. I have tried the Mr One and there is really no comparison.

I just installed a new mount for my Comma 3x in my Bolt EV. It is called the “Cross Glide Mag Mount for Openpilot Comma 3&3X”. It is different from the other QD mounting systems in that it uses a magnetic quick-release system that is horizontal instead of vertical. It is available from jankay workshop. In the early production unit I received the piece that mounts on the Comma required some fitting; I spent five minutes with a file and sandpaper and got it fitted without any real drama. Jankay is aware of this and I’m sure the situation will be remedied in future batches, but it really isn’t a big deal. I’ve included some photos. I was able to easily reuse the original Comma 3x USB cable.
